Curved surface processing

  • The spinning surface where the angle of the wall changes every moment. The jagged back with the R of 0.04 (The cutter: ball-tapered 19° tip with the R of 0.04)

  • Direct engraving of the logo on the curved surface.
  • Aluminum cap of liquor (photo of the product). Both concave, reverse characters and convex, positive characters are directly engraved on the cylindrical surface.

Product

  • In the time when there were no 3D scanners, we used the resin samples to manually create the CAD data.

Mold

  • Direct mold engraving from 3D digitizing (outsourcing) with a 3D scanner.
4-axis rotary processing
  • Knurled electrode by simultaneous biaxial processing of X axis and A axis (rotation axis). (the cutter: 45° tapered tip with the diameter of 0.68) * There are videos.
  • square 1 convex 0.3 knurled electrode.(The cutter: 45° ball-tapered tip with the R of 0.04)
  • square 0.8 convex 0.5 knurled electrode. The surface was processed by tilting B axis because of the large conical surface with a slope. (the cutter: 38° tapered tip with the diameter of 0.06).
  • The processing of the twisted surface on the circumference by simultaneous 2-axis machining of X axis and A axis (rotational axis).
  • Direct engraving of the internal thread.
  • Marking for the year printing machine. Direct engraving with the cylindrical interpolation. (Material: Brass).
  • Direct engraving of the focus ring mold with the cylindrical interpolation. * There is a video.
  • Direct engraving on the bearing mold cover.
